Meeting rooms

Two meeting rooms with an array of possibilities. The Montefiore room is light and airy, converting from pop-up venue to classroom or boardroom, while the more intimate Michael Mayne room is suited to smaller groups.

Both meeting rooms can be laid out to suit individual needs, have disabled access and free WiFi. Other facilities available for hire include a digital projector, screen, whiteboard and flip-chart. You can pre-order refreshments with the café team — from breakfast bacon butties and lunches to afternoon teas with home-made scones and cakes — or self-serve from the café with a 10% discount.

The Montefiore Room (Large)

The Montefiore Room, the larger of our meeting rooms, is located upstairs in the eaves of this medieval building. Its size, and the Victorian stencilling and stained glass windows make it a popular choice. It has lift access and is ideal for meetings, lectures, and workshops. You can seat up to 20 presentation style, 16-18 boardroom style or use as a blank canvas for your pop-up event.

The Michael Mayne Room (Small)

The Michael Mayne Room is a smaller space, ideal for interiews

The Michael Mayne room is an intimate, quiet space on the ground floor ideal for interviews, supervisions, and small workshops or classes. 

You can seat up to 12 presentation style and up to 10 boardroom style. If you have a group of 10 or 12 and also need space to spread out, we’re recommend booking our larger meeting room instead.

Dimensions: 4.4m long, 3.2m wide
